2012 Rivendell Bowl For Kids' Sake taking place in Bowling Green & Glasgow, KY.
Participation in Bowl For Kids' Sake is simple. Teams are composed of 5 members, with each member raising at least $30 (totaling a minimum of $150 per team). Each participant will receive one hour of complimentary bowling, free food and sodas from their hospitality room, and the opportunity to earn unique 1980's-themed tee shirts, as well as chances to win a variety of nice prizes.
How Does It Work?
Step 1: Register Online! It’s easy to do online- click here and follow the simple instructions!
Alternatively, you can pick up a Bowl For Kids’ Sake Pledge Sheet to collect donations by coming by our office at 716 E. 10th Avenue in Bowling Green.
BONUS: Everyone who registers online and sets up their own fundraising page will be eligible for our drawing to win either a $50 Mariah’s/Buckhead Café or Wal-mart gift card!
Step 2: Raise a minimum of $30 to bowl at the event- AIM HIGH! We suggest $100, but some of our top bowlers raise over $1,000! Receive one complimentary hour of bowling, food and sodas from our hospitality room, and win door prizes (including local restaurant & merchant’s gift certificates).
Step 3: Collect Donations for Big Brothers Big Sisters and earn prizes! A list of prizes are available at our Bowl For Kids' Sake website.
Step 4: Reserve your lane by selecting a Team Captain for each team who will then choose a day and time for the team to bowl. The Team Captain is responsible for contacting our office to schedule a time to bowl. All teams are asked to come 30 minutes prior to their scheduled bowling time for registration.
Step 5: Submit Your Completed Pledge Sheet/Online Donations Form at the event and Have Fun! Join us at the bowling centers to celebrate your team’s success! Remember, it’s not about how good a bowler you are, it’s celebrating the impact the money your team collected will have on children in your community!

Bowl For Kids' Sake is Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Central Kentucky's largest annual fundraising event, which provides half of our annual operating budget. During this fundraiser, approximately 2,000 individuals in our community turn out to bowl for the benefit of Big Brothers Big Sisters' mentoring programs. Dollars raised at this event support local volunteer recruitment efforts, as well as provide professional staff who screen volunteers before they are matched, perform monthly monitoring of each match's progress, and organize group events for both active matches and for those children still waiting to be matched. Our agency supports over 340 matches each year and our goal for 2012 are to serve over 360 children in our community.
The more money raised at Bowl For Kids' Sake, the more children Big Brothers Big Sisters will be allowed to serve and inspire to reach their full potential through an ongoing relationship with a caring adult.
